When Jacob Lamers started Dairyland's Best in 1913, raw milk was distributed to the villagers in steel cans.  The following year they began using a horse and buggy as the milk cart, until 1919 when the first truck was purchased.  By 1929 milk production was becoming a full time operation and another truck was added to help with the service to customers.  At Dairylands Best Home Delivery,  we still service over 500 residential and business customers.
